Vicky Pattison has shared a fresh update with followers on Monday morning, confirming she and husband Ercan Ramadan remain safe in Dubai amid ongoing tensions in the region.
The reality star, who featured in last year's Strictly Come Dancing, explained the couple have been deliberately stepping back from social media platforms due to what she deemed widespread misinformation circulating online.
"We're sorry that we haven't been more proactive across social media but honestly, we've been limiting our time spent on here due to a growing amount of misinformation that feels really counterproductive to staying calm," she wrote on her Instagram Story.
Ms Pattison added that the pair are "trying to stay hopeful and measured" during what she acknowledged is "a really uncertain situation."

|The reality star expressed hope that they would be able to return to the UK soon.
Her full statement read: "Just wanted to give you guys a little update as we are understandably still receiving a lot of concerned messages.
"We're sorry that we haven't been more proactive across social media but honestly, we've been limiting our time spent on here due to a growing amount of misinformation that feels really counterproductive to staying calm.
"I understand this is a really uncertain situation and everyone deals with it in different ways but we're trying to stay hopeful and measured, and this feels like the best way for us to do that.
"I am not an expert on geopolitical matters or international affairs, what I can say is that the narrative that Dubai is being 'bombed' feels like a hyperbolic one.
"Currently what we've been advised through government channels is that they are intercepting missiles competently and efficiently and what has subsequently caused damage and tragically harm is falling debris.
"We are adhering to all advice from our hotel and the proper official resources and remaining safe and are hoping to come home soon.
"We were swiftly and safely evacuated to our hotel's underground parking structure two nights ago, but that felt more precautionary than anything else.

|"We are incredibly grateful to our hotel and we don't want to add to the rising panic and chaos by stating anything other than rational fact or at the very least what we have been advised is true.
"And we're being incredibly mindful of our privilege in this situation. There are many people in the world right now in far more dangerous and heartbreaking circumstances."
The former Geordie Shore star concluded the message: "Our thoughts and prayers, as yours should be, are with anything feeling unsettled and unsafe as the world sadly becomes an increasingly fractious and hostile one."
Ms Pattison and Mr Ramadan had originally been holidaying in Dubai before planning to continue their journey to Australia, but their flight was cancelled as the situation escalated, leaving them effectively stranded in the country.

|The update comes as Britain launches an unprecedented support operation for approximately 200,000 of its citizens currently located across the Gulf region as Iranian missile strikes continue in retaliation for Israeli and American military action.
The Foreign Office has received registrations from over 94,000 Britons seeking updates, predominantly tourists visiting the UAE and travellers passing through major regional airports.
Officials are developing contingency evacuation strategies should regional airspace remain inaccessible. Numerous flights to and from Tel Aviv, Dubai, Doha and other key hubs have been cancelled or rerouted.
Citizens in Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, the Palestinian territories, Qatar and the UAE have been urged to register their whereabouts.
Keir Starmer addressed the nation on Sunday evening, confirming that Iranian forces had struck airports and hotels housing British citizens.
"I ask all our people in the region to please register your presence and follow Foreign Office travel advice," the Prime Minister said.
"I know this is a deeply worrying time. And we will continue to do all we can to support you."
Those transiting through Dubai and Doha have been instructed to shelter indoors and avoid unnecessary travel.
