The Delilah hitmaker was back in the judge's chair on The Voice this past weekend

Sir Tom Jones fans have expressed their concern after spotting a mark on his face during the latest episode of The Voice.

The singing competition kicked off its latest season on Saturday with Jones reuniting with, Olly Murs and Anne Marie in the show's iconic spinning chairs.

While there were a number of budding singers who managed to capture the attention of viewers, Jones' appearance also garnered interest.

Throughout the show, a slight mark was visible on Jones' cheek.

However, Jones paid no reference to the mark and it didn't hinder his ability to wow the audience with his participation in the judges' rendition of Stairway to Heaven or provide his verdict on the contestants' performances.

Nevertheless, several viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their concern, including one fan who penned: "What's that new spot on Tom's face? Hope it's ok...#TheVoice."

A second shared their concern: "What has Sir Tom Jones done to his face?!! I love him but please Tom, don’t touch the face!! #TheVoice."

Meanwhile, a third echoed: "I hope Sir Tom has had that brown mark on his face checked out #Thevoice."

While prompted a fourth to weigh in: "I just tweeted the same thing. Worrying......#thevoice.

However, others were simply quick to share their admiration for the Welsh rocker who managed to put on an age-defying performance on The Voice stage.

One X user weighed in: "Sir Tom Jones 83 years of age and still has some pipes what a legend #thevoiceuk."

While another praised: "#SirTomJones amazing as usual!!! Get him to do an audience with show, would rather listen to Tom singing the hits than many of these auditions #TheVoiceUK."

The 83-year-old has often been open with his health woes in recent years, including publicly addressing the double hip replacement he had to undertake.

He wrote in a social media post following the procedure: "Papa has two new hips now!

"For all those concerned and sent in well wishes, I am pleased to report my recent surgery went very well, I’m following orders and doing my physio, so happy to say I will be back soon!"

He's also been candid about his weight loss in recent years, saying on Radio 2: "I was putting too much weight on. I didn't think I was going to and I left the working out for a bit, thought I'd keep a check on it.

"But with the Christmas puddings and cakes, before I knew it I was 230lb (16.4 stone) which was 30lb more than I should be.

"I couldn't get into my suits. That's when I thought: 'This has got to stop'."
