The new ink on the 23-year-old comes just weeks after his brother, Brooklyn, covered the tattoos he had dedicated to his family

Romeo Beckham has revealed a striking new tattoo bearing the word "Family" in cursive script on the back of his neck, positioned directly above his existing winged cross design.

The 23-year-old model had the work completed at Fine Line Hearts Club, a Soho-based studio that has previously created inkings for both Romeo and his younger brother Cruz.

The timing of the tattoo could not be more pointed, as it comes just days after his brother Brooklyn hit headlines for covering up body art dedicated to his parents.

On social media, one commenter described Romeo's new ink as a "statement piece", while another remarked on the "funny timing" of the new body art.

The tattoo was shared via Instagram on Sunday, with the London studio posting black-and-white photographs of the finished design and the inking process itself.

Cruz Beckham, 20, also visited the same Soho parlour this weekend, turning a date night with girlfriend Jackie Apostel into a matching tattoo session.

The budding musician had a single letter "J" inked onto his ribs as a tribute to his 30-year-old partner, a singer-songwriter he has been publicly dating since October 2024 after the pair were first spotted together at Glastonbury that summer.

Jackie opted for the word "providence" in cursive lettering on her side, a term referring to divine or spiritual protection.

The tattoo studio documented the couple's visit with intimate photographs and footage shared to their social media accounts, which Cruz subsequently reposted to his Instagram Stories.

Both Jackie and Romeo's girlfriend, DJ Kim Turnbull, have been embraced by the Beckham family, attending Paris Fashion Week alongside them recently.

Brooklyn, meanwhile, has been removing tributes to his relatives from his body following his bombshell six-page Instagram statement in January.

The 26-year-old aspiring chef previously had the word "Dad" inscribed within an anchor design on his upper right arm, accompanied by the phrase "Love you Bust" – a reference to David's affectionate nickname for his firstborn.

Recent photographs show the lettering has been obscured with small shapes and a starfish, with sources indicating Brooklyn underwent laser treatment to alter the design.

His siblings' names – Romeo, Cruz and Harper – which were once tattooed on his fingers, have also been covered with a cloudy pattern.

A chest tattoo reading "Mama's boy" dedicated to Victoria was reportedly replaced last June with a sketch of wife Nicola Peltz's wedding flowers.

Sir David and Victoria have not publicly addressed their eldest son's accusations, though the former Spice Girl reportedly "feels betrayed" by the public attack.

Sources close to the couple have indicated they remain hopeful of reconciliation, with one insider telling People magazine last month that they are "afraid" of losing Brooklyn permanently.

"They love Brooklyn and are horrified about everything," the source said.

A second insider suggested the parents believe their fractured relationship with their son could "heal with time," but acknowledged they "can't really do anything until then".

It is reported that neither Brooklyn nor Nicola currently communicates directly with David or Victoria, with recent contact occurring only through mediators.

Despite the estrangement, David has no intention of altering his own tribute tattoos, including Brooklyn's nickname "Buster" on his neck.
