Period drama Grantchester is returning with series 10 on Wednesday evening, with Robson Green and Rishi Nair back to front the popular series in its penultimate run.
Mr Nair may have joined the show in series nine, taking over from Tom Brittney's character Will Davenport, but he is very much a part of the Grantchester family, with their closeness evident when Mr Green paid a sweet tribute to his co-star in a recent interview.
Speaking to GB News and other media last month, he stated: "Rishi has just spent the weekend with me up here in Newcastle.
"It was St James's Park, and our victory over Man City. And what an atmosphere, what a joy it was."

Touching on both his on and off-screen friendship with Mr Nair, the Geordie Keating star continued: "You know, working with Kacey (Ainsworth) as well, I just, I'm working with actors who...
"For me, there are two types of acting, there's convincing, and there's unconvincing.
"And the actors that we work with, with Rishi and Casey and all the other plethora of fantastic actors, they turn up on time, they care.
"They hit their mark, and they tell their truth. And I just know when I'm working with Rishi, and we say this a lot when we're working together, we're doing the scene together, I'm really glad I'm doing this scene with you, because we always go back to the common ground of mates.

"So with Geordie and Sidney (James Norton) at the very start, they were living in the shadow of World War Two.
"So they both had the PTSD, the shared experience of World War Two.
"And with Will and Geordie, it was definitely father and son, but with Rishi's character Alphy, it's a meeting of minds.
"And when we approach a scene, we always rooted as two best friends talking together.

"And so what you have to do with all this community of characters, as Daisy (Coulam, creator, writer, and executive producer of Grantchester) does brilliantly at the start.
"It's always this kind of metaphorical Garden of Eden, everybody's in a good place.
"And what you have to do, whether it's the crime or a situation or a circumstance, you have to fracture those relationships.
"And you want the audience to go, 'Oh no, they've fallen apart. Oh, we want them back together again,' and that's the journey I go on with Alphy."

Teasing how their characters' relationship will be tested in series 10, he continued: "Geordie knows there's something. There's a secret and a lie that he has that is hemorrhaging within Alphy, and that comes to the surface in series 10, which has a profound effect on their relationship.
"And really fractures the family of Grantchester, as do the crimes. So it's a great scenario. So, yeah, I mean, you know, from the day I first met Rishi, the first thing we talked about was Man United and Newcastle United.
"And we still do so that shorthand we have off camera - I mean, I've told things to Rishi as families do, so Rishi knows more about me than most of my close family do."
The Grantchester cast have recently wrapped up filming for the final series, which will air next year. Series 10 airs on ITV on Wednesday at 9pm.
