He admitted he hadn't initially connected his eye problems to the medication when seeking professional help.
The singer has chosen to speak publicly about his experience to raise awareness among others considering similar treatments.

At a recent American football match, he found himself unable to distinguish individual players on the pitch, describing them as "just blobs on a green field in front of me".
The deterioration has significantly impacted his stage performances. During emotional renditions of his 1999 hit She's The One, where he traditionally serenades individual audience members, Mr Williams can no longer make out their faces.
"Basically, I was looking in the direction of these women looking up at me, having this experience that's quite obviously incredible to them, and little do they know I can't see them," he told The Sun.
The performer expressed frustration at being unable to witness fans' reactions during what should be intimate concert moments, though audiences remain unaware of his struggle.
Mr Williams has encouraged potential users to thoroughly investigate possible adverse effects before beginning similar treatments.
His warning comes as recent research from the United States identified a possible connection between medications containing Semaglutide and a rare condition affecting the optic nerve that could result in vision loss.
"I don't believe it's age; I believe it's the jabs," Williams stated, expressing his conviction about the cause of his visual decline.

Mr Williams has acknowledged that the injections have provided significant relief from what he described as "constant mental anguish", transforming his mental health struggles.

Despite recognising the potential threat to his vision, the singer made a startling admission about his commitment to the treatment. "I'm that sick, I'd probably stay on [Mounjaro] until the sight in one eye has completely gone," he confessed.
