Ray Winstone didn’t hold back as he spoke openly about his feud with Hollywood star Jack Nicholson.
The 67-year-old stage and film star addressed the 2006 spat he had with Nicholson, 86, when they starred in a film together.
The two actors butted heads on the set of The Departed, and during a BAFTA chat in 2014, Winstone labelled the Terms of Endearment star “arrogant”.
When asked recently about the rift and why he’d taken a disliking to the actor, he replied: “I have no idea.
“You always look at yourself on set and think, ‘Ooh, I’m alright. I get on with everyone. I do what I gotta do and boom, I go home.’
“But it doesn’t worry me. It doesn’t shock me. You clash a little bit.”

Speaking to Independent, he continued: “He’s not the first person I’ve clashed with. He won’t be the last.”
Despite this, Winstone admitted he’d still love to work with the star, confessing: “Of course I want to work with him again! He’s a fantastic actor!”
He went on to add that he doesn’t like “arrogance,” explaining: “There’s no need for it”.
“We all end up in the same hole in the ground. But some people have this smarmy little side mouth,” he told the publication.

It seems Winstone still firmly believes in speaking out when he doesn’t get a good feeling from someone.
Talking about “some guy” he worked with who is “quite high up,” he warned: “He’s gonna get a real tug from me. Cos he was rude, he was f***ing ’orrible.”
The legendary actor, who stars in upcoming American fantasy Damsel alongside Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, recently admitted he doesn't like talking about acting.
"I don’t want to sit around talking endlessly about acting," he told The Guardian, adding: "I go home at night and my wife will be there and she will not ask about acting."

When asked what he does talk about his wife Elaine, he told the publication: “Us! How her day’s been. What she’s been up to.
"She’s got a good radar. Whenever I’ve had to kiss someone on set, she knows. I must give it away when I come in.
"There’s something witchy about her. Or she’s got a tag on me.”
