Peter Andre and his wife Emily have withdrawn from his daughter Princess's ITV2 reality programme following controversy over her mother Katie Price's exclusion from the first series.
The 52-year-old singer and his 36-year-old wife will not appear in the second and third series of The Princess Diaries, according to sources.
The decision comes after Ms Price, 47, publicly criticised being left out of the show, accusing Mr Andre and his management team of considering her "trash" and deliberately excluding her.
Insiders revealed the 18-year-old influencer discussed the matter with her father, who agreed to step back to reduce the "noise" surrounding Ms Price's absence.

The move aims to prevent the teenage influencer from feeling caught between her divorced parents.
Her brother Junior, 20, will continue to feature in the programme, with filming expected to capture his sister's international business ventures and a major beauty project in Liverpool.
A source told The Sun: "Basically, Princess's big moment was overshadowed by her rowing parents. It definitely took the shine off her."
The insider claimed that ITV sought an arrangement where neither parent would appear on screen, preventing "unnecessary bickering in the public eye."

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Production teams are believed to be facing challenges without the family dynamic that characterised the first series.
"It's a nightmare for producers because they absolutely loved having Pete and Emily on the show," an insider told MailOnline.
The source added that producers are "struggling for content and storylines with just Princess alone" and miss the family interactions filmed at home.
Ms Price expressed her distress during a podcast appearance in August, stating she had been prevented from attending her daughter's photoshoots, signings, and Superdrug openings.

Katie Price previously said she was banned from starring in The Princess Diaries
| PA"I have not been allowed to go on any photo shoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome," Ms Price said.
The former glamour model claimed Mr Andre's management team had blocked her participation, despite her 30-year industry experience.
She voiced particular hurt at missing key moments in Princess's emerging career, noting she had attended "assemblies", "Christmas things", "awards", and sporting events throughout her children's upbringing.
Ms Price emphasised she didn't seek personal publicity but simply wanted to support her daughter as her own family had supported her career.
Peter Andre with his wife Emily and children Princess and Junior | GETTYMr Andre responded to Ms Price's comments in August by revealing previously undisclosed custody arrangements, stating that Junior and Princess had been placed in his care in 2018 "for their safety."
"For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood," Mr Andre wrote on Instagram.
He disclosed that family courts had issued a legally binding order in 2019 to enforce this arrangement, information he had kept private "out of respect for my children."
Sources suggested the public dispute between the former couple had detracted from Princess's television debut. "She loves both her parents so much and never wants them to row," an insider told The Sun.
GB News has contacted Mr Andre's representatives for comment.
