Brooklyn spent Christmas with Nicola's family in Florida
|The 26-year-old's absence from the celebrations was noticeable, with Lady Victoria sharing moments from the day including Cruz playing guitar and David receiving a home pedicure.
The family tensions intensified when Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz publicly addressed claims that their parents had unfollowed him on social media.
The 20-year-old took to Instagram on December 21 to set the record straight, writing: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
His statement appeared to confirm that Brooklyn had cut off contact with his immediate family on the platform, with the block reportedly extending to 14-year-old sister Harper.

David and Victoria have been blocked on Instagram by Brooklyn
| INSTAGRAMBrooklyn later appeared to respond to the controversy by sharing a TikTok video set to Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”, highlighting the lyric “sorry I cannot hear you I’m kinda busy” in bold text.
On Christmas Eve, he also posted a photograph holding Nicola’s hand, captioned: “My everything x.”
Speculation around the rift was further fuelled when Lady Victoria shared a Christmas Day video of herself dancing with Sir David to Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb’s duet “Guilty”.
The clip prominently featured the lyric “we’ve got nothing to be sorry for”, which many followers interpreted as a veiled message directed at their eldest son.

“David and Victoria giving their very best Barry and Barbra on Christmas Day xxx kisses from us both xx,” she captioned the footage.
Speaking to Metro, a source said Lady Victoria is “hoping Brooklyn will come around and see things for what they are”.
Tensions between Brooklyn and his parents are said to date back to his 2022 wedding to Nicola, when she chose not to wear a dress designed by her fashion-designer mother-in-law.
Reports later claimed Nicola left the reception in tears after performer Marc Anthony described Lady Victoria as “the most beautiful woman in the room”.
The couple’s absence from major family events has continued throughout 2025. They did not attend Sir David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May and were also absent when he received his knighthood from King Charles in November.
They were similarly missing from the premiere of Lady Victoria’s Netflix documentary in October, with the rest of the family posing together on the red carpet.
Nicola’s Christmas post sparked a strong reaction online, with fans flooding the comments section with criticism.

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham maintains a very close and harmonious relationship with Nicola’s parents
One wrote: “The daughter-in-law I do not want,” while another asked: “Why don’t you show love to the Beckham family?!”
Others directed their comments at Brooklyn, accusing him of abandoning his family over the festive period.
“Brooklyn you can get lots of wives but only one mum… you have to remember that,” one user wrote. “Heal each other with love, kindness, care and support.”
“Brooklyn go home and see your parents. Life really is too short,” another added, while one comment compared the couple to “Harry + Meghan 2.0”.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also weighed in, commenting: “Everyone EXCEPT your in-laws!”
However, some users defended the couple, with one writing: “Some of these comments are wild. You only get one set of parents, yes, but that doesn’t mean you have to like them or be with them.”
Brooklyn currently has “no interest in mending things” and is instead focused on “living a peaceful, drama-free life with Nicola”, according to Us Weekly.
“They’ve built their own world together and are very content in it,” the insider added.
