Nicola Peltz -Beckham has suffered somewhat of a fresh blow to her acting career after critics savaged her latest television project, branding it "offensive," "dumbed down" and "nearly unwatchable."
The 31-year-old heiress appears in Ryan Murphy's body horror series The Beauty, which premiered on Disney+ this week to a brutal reception from reviewers.
The career setback arrives at a particularly difficult moment, coming just days after her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, launched a scathing six-page Instagram attack on his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria.
The billionaire's daughter, whose father Nelson Peltz once described her as a "world-famous actress" in legal documents, now finds herself at the centre of both a critical panning and an intensifying family rift that has gripped public attention.

| PAIn one particularly cutting review, Metro awarded the series just a single star, declaring in the review that "Ryan Murphy's offensive new TV show is nearly unwatchable."
The review went on: "Having seen the trailer and read the list of guest stars - Meghan Trainor! Bella Hadid! Nicola Peltz Beckham! - I expected nonsense. But I was not prepared for the endurance challenge that was soldiering through these 11 episodes."
The Independent dismissed the production as "flashy yet vacant," criticising its reliance on glossy visuals over compelling storytelling.
Several critics have accused the 11-episode series of borrowing heavily from the acclaimed Demi Moore film The Substance, with reviewers noting excessive sex and violence throughout.
The Independent labelled the show "not a patch" on the films it clearly imitates, whilst the Irish Independent simply dismissed it as "muck."
This isn't the first time Ms Peltz-Beckham has found herself batting against negative reviews in her career.
Her acting debut came aged 11 in the festive comedy Deck the Halls, which holds a mere six per cent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Subsequent appearances in The Last Airbender, derided by some as an "abomination of cinema," and Transformers: Age of Extinction, which critics dismissed as "all hype and no hope," failed to establish her credentials.
