Channel 4 sparked outrage recently with a documentary about the OnlyFans star

GB News presenter Michelle Dewberry has launched a fierce attack on media organisations that provide platforms to adult content creator Bonnie Blue, whose controversial activities have sparked widespread debate.

In a strongly-worded social media post, Dewberry condemned those conducting interviews with Blue as "frankly just as gross as she is".

She dismissed claims that such coverage aims to foster understanding, stating: "No you're not, everyone already understands what she & her involved family members are."

The television host accused media outlets of pursuing clicks whilst "helping to legitimise things which absolutely should remain illegitimate and shameful".

"Don’t give me nonsense about how you are 'trying to understand.'

"No you're not, everyone already understands what she & her involved family members are.

"What you are doing is a) desperately trying to get clicks and b) in doing so, helping to legitimise things which absolutely should remain illegitimate and shameful.

"It’s utterly tragic some of the stuff that is going on in today’s society. Genuinely makes me fear for my child as I have no idea where it will all end up."

The documentary has prompted deeper reflection on contemporary cultural values and their origins.

Reverend Simon Jones from Barrow-in-Furness suggested that Blue represents an unintended consequence of certain feminist ideologies, describing her as "a kind of Frankenstein's monster born not of misogyny, but of a hyper-individualistic, sex-positive ethos untethered from collective ethical critique".

He argued that society is experiencing the results of what he termed "a pseudo-feminist narrative that valorises personal sexual agency above almost all else".

The reverend warned that such ideologies have created conditions where challenging claims of empowerment becomes problematic, even when "the spectacle becomes indistinguishable from the patriarchal pornographies it once sought to subvert".

Jones called for honest examination of the belief systems that have enabled such extreme content to gain prominence.

The controversy has reignited fundamental questions about society's relationship with online pornography.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
