Lorraine Kelly fans will be disappointed to learn that the future of her ITV chat show isn't looking promising, with further bad news coming in amid the channel's recent announcement of schedule changes.
The 65-year-old presenter, who has fronted her self-titled morning show, Lorraine since 2010, was dealt a major blow recently when ITV announced hours of her programme would be cut next year.
The panel show Loose Women will also be impacted by the shake-up to the channel. From January next year, Kelly's titular show will only run for 30 minutes, rather than an hour.
Additionally, Lorraine will air for only 30 weeks of the year rather than its previous 52. Unfortunately, though, the bad news hasn't ended there for Kelly.
With Loose Women likewise affected, also being cut down to 30 weeks of the year, speculation has been swirling about which of the shows will be the first to be taken off air completely.
Bookmakers now suggest the solo presenter may have to say goodbye to her ITV presenting career first.
Current odds stand at 10/11 for Lorraine to be ditched before Loose Women, and just evens for 2026 to see the end of the show.
Odds of 15/8 have been given that Lorraine will be axed in 2028, and 2/1 of the cancellation coming in 2029 or later.

It also looks highly unlikely, at 5/1, that the show hits the cutting room floor later this year, before the 2026 plans even take place.
Loose Women has 6/5 odds of being axed next year, and 13/8 of the show making it to 2027 before being shelved, according to Gambling.com.
The blow to Kelly comes shortly after she underwent surgery for a health condition, with the latest knock-back the most recent in a difficult few months for the Scottish presenter.
Earlier this month, Kelly shared a sweet update following her surgery and hospital stint, detailing her hopes of returning to her show.

In her initial update, which came weeks before, Kelly explained that she'd had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed, emphasising she was being "very well looked after".
Updating fans on her recovery, she took to Instagram once again in the middle of May to post an adorable snap of herself relaxing with her granddaughter, Billie.
The two are grinning at the camera while lying in bed, with Kelly captioning the post: "Thanks so much for all your get-well wishes."

Kelly has also made it known how she feels about continuous online jokes poking fun at her absences from the morning programme.
Speaking in March about a social media account dedicated to tracking her time away from the show, Kelly admitted to The Guardian: "It's really hurtful, actually. It really is. I've not spoken about it before."
