Pete Davidson is set to become a father for the first time. The comedian's girlfriend, model and actress Elsie Hewitt, confirmed her pregnancy on Instagram on Wednesday with a series of photographs, including an ultrasound image.
The 31-year-old former Saturday Night Live star and Hewitt, 29, have been together since March when they were first spotted in Palm Beach, Florida.
The pregnancy news emerged after TMZ initially reported the story, with Hewitt's Instagram post following shortly afterwards.
The announcement included what appeared to be casual maternity photographs of the couple, with one image showing Davidson embracing Hewitt whilst sitting on stairs.
"Welp now everyone knows we had sex," Hewitt wrote in the caption accompanying the announcement, which featured intimate couple photographs and a video from a doctor's appointment.
The couple's relationship progressed rapidly following their first public appearance in March.
According to People, they moved in together in May, with a source revealing they were "splitting their time between Pete's house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn."
"They're so happy together and doing great," the source told the outlet at the time. Their red carpet debut came later that month at the 13th Annual Blossom Ball at the Pierre Hotel in New York City on May 15.
The relationship timeline also included Davidson bringing Hewitt as his plus-one to Dave Navarro and Vanessa DuBasso's wedding in Scotland.
Hewitt had previously shared glimpses of their relationship on social media, including an Instagram story featuring Davidson in a bathrobe and Fourth of July photographs showing the pair cuddling on a boat.
Davidson has previously expressed his desire to become a father; during a 2022 appearance on Kevin Hart's talk show Hart to Heart, he revealed that parenthood was his ultimate goal.
"My favourite thing ever, which I've yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid," Davidson told Hart. "That's like my dream."

The comedian elaborated on his enthusiasm for fatherhood, saying: "It's super corny, but it would be so fun to dress up a little dude."
He added: "I'm so excited for that chapter so that's kind of what I'm just preparing for now, is trying to be like good as a dude and develop and get better so when that happens it's just easier."
Davidson has been open about making positive life changes in recent years, including abstaining from drugs and alcohol and undergoing the removal of his extensive tattoo collection.
London-born Hewitt works as an actress, model and influencer with over one million Instagram followers. She runs a popular account called 'Elsie Eats' where she documents her bites.

Davidson rose to prominence as one of the youngest-ever SNL cast members when he joined in 2014, remaining for eight seasons.
His upcoming projects include the Prime Video comedy The Pickup, with Eddie Murphy and Keke Palmer, releasing on August 6.
He's also set to star in the psychological horror film The Home, and the heist film How to Rob a Bank.
