Katie Price is said to have disclosed the identity of the British television personality she alleges sexually assaulted her while the cameras were rolling in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.

The former glamour has been in the news this week after sharing the name of her alleged attacker during her ongoing UK tour alongside Kerry Katona.

The 47-year-old former glamour model made the allegation at multiple venues throughout their 38-date tour across Britain.

During the shows, in which Ms Price performs and shares candid life stories alongside pal and singer Ms Katona, it was claimed she first shared the name while in the jungle.

Ms Katona is reported to have disclosed that Ms Price had previously shared this information with her while they were contestants on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004.

"I remember you telling me that when we were in the jungle together," Ms Katona told audiences after Ms Price shared the name of the alleged perpetrator.

It's believed the broadcaster chose not to air this conversation despite continuous filming of contestants, removing it from the final programme due to legal considerations.

GB News has contacted ITV for comment on the reports. Ms Price's team declined to comment.

Ms Price made the claims at performances in Bradford, Stockport, and Grimsby, with Wednesday's Scarborough show featuring additional details.

She told attendees: "He raped me, and when it came out, all my friends said I had got to go to the police, but I did not go to the police because I did not want to get involved with it all."

Audience members expressed shock at the revelation with audible gasps heard in the auditorium.

One attendee described how the disclosure became "the talk of the interval," given the accused individual's prominence.

They noted, according to The Sun: "People felt really sorry for her. It was difficult to hear that, and it will have touched people who have been through similar horrific situations themselves."

Another audience member commented that Ms Price appeared "absolutely tiny, almost like a little doll" and seemed to be experiencing significant stress.

Ms Price's decision to go public with the allegation marks a U-turn from her previous position on the matter. In both 2009 and 2012, she stated she would "never name him" publicly.

The change in stance follows the MeToo movement, which reportedly influenced her reconsideration.

According to sources at the time, Ms Price believed she had "nothing to lose" and questioned why she shouldn't reveal her alleged attacker when others had done so. She had considered disclosing the identity in a forthcoming book.

Attendees at the tour performances reported that Ms Price "blurted out" the name, with one fan posting: "I now have a different understanding and level of respect that I never thought I would have."

Ms Price previously discussed the alleged assault publicly in a 2009 OK! magazine column.

She wrote: "Rape is a subject very close to my own heart. I was raped when I was younger, more than once. I'd never be associated with anything or anyone so sick."
