The concerning findings emerged after fans expressed alarm at her increasingly frail appearance, with the star recently photographed looking unsteady on her feet during a public outing.
The mother-of-five's dramatic transformation has caused considerable alarm within her family, with her mother Amy Price repeatedly pressing her daughter to seek professional help.
Katie revealed on the podcast that Amy had been persistently questioning whether she had contacted her GP.
"All I've had, since everywhere has been closed, is, 'Have you phoned the doctors yet? Have you phoned?'" Katie explained.

"I'm like, 'Yes, mum. I went to the doctors today.' I screenshotted the appointment."
Her younger sister Sophie, who is 11 years Katie's junior, admitted she had doubted whether the appointment had actually been arranged, as their mother had been discussing the matter with her too.
Amy's anxiety about her daughter's condition appears to mirror the widespread concern expressed by Katie's followers online.
The reality star confirmed she is now scheduled for comprehensive medical investigations to determine the underlying cause of her weight loss.

The tests will include blood work and an MRI scan, which her mother had specifically requested.
However, the initial blood test proved problematic, with medical staff unable to extract sufficient samples.
Katie disclosed that only two vials could be filled during the appointment, necessitating a return visit to complete the testing.
"I'm going in there to talk about blood tests, MRI, everything she wants me to have to get to the bottom of why the Price is - forget stick man - stick woman," she told listeners.
The star had previously visited doctors in October 2025, posting a selfie with the caption: "First day off and straight to the doctors to find out what's happened to my weight."
Alongside her health concerns, Katie shared positive news about her eldest son Harvey, who is preparing to move into his own accommodation by the end of January.
The 23-year-old, who has ADHD, autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome and septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness, will be transitioning to independent living following his departure from residential college.
The new property is situated just a quarter of an hour from Katie's Horsham residence, allowing her to remain close to her son while he gains greater autonomy.

|"We are looking at his place this month, he should be moving at the end of this month. And then it'll be 15 minutes. I can't wait," Katie said on her podcast.
Harvey had previously attended a specialist institution in Gloucester that catered to his complex needs.
The brand-new accommodation is still being completed, with builders finishing construction work and ensuring all regulations are met before Harvey can take up residence.
Katie expressed enthusiasm about furnishing the space to reflect her son's personality and interests.
"I am going to get him a SMEG kettle and toaster, green ones, new plates, same as how I kitted Junior's out," she explained.
"But I need to get him a new sofa, new bed, new bedding. I want to get a net - I have so many frog toys - just to put in the corner of his room."
The former glamour model added: "I'm going to make it a home from home and he will love it. I'm excited for him."
Harvey, whose father is former Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke, had grown restless at his residential college and frequently expressed a desire to return home.
