The Clarkson's Farm duo stepped out in a very unfamiliar setting on Wednesday evening

Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper have delighted fans after the pair made a joint appearance at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

The Clarkson's Farm stars spend most of their time together tending to Diddly Squat in Oxfordshire but their latest foray into the spotlight was in very different circumstances.

Clarkson, a lifelong Chelsea supporter, and his farming righthand man Cooper, a Manchester United supporter, headed north to watch their two teams go head to head on the football pitch.

It was a much happier affair for young farmer Cooper as 63-year-old Clarkson could only helplessly watch on as his team succumbed to a 2-1 defeat.

Two goals from Scott McTominay were enough for the Red Devils to secure victory after Chelsea's Cole Palmer equalised earlier in the game.

The Clarkson's Farm duo took to the pitch after the game for an interview with the Amazon Prime Video cameras and Cooper couldn't resist basking in Clarkson's misery.

The Amazon Prime reporter told viewers: "We're with two very special guests here pitchside, Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper... one slightly happier than the other.

"Chelsea fan here," the reporter added as she gestured to Clarkson before Cooper weighed in: "He's sulking."

Cooper went on to reveal the match was his "first ever live game" and he was clearly buzzing with excitement.

"It is amazing," Cooper beamed before the reporter asked: "Was it what you thought it would be?"

The young farmer replied: "I mean, coming out of the tunnel up there and seeing the colours of the pitch - mainly because I maintained it..."

Cooper goaded Clarkson into a response as he grumpily added: "You do a better job at this than you do with the fields of the farm, I tell you."

"He's proper sulking," Cooper teased before the Prime reporter asked: "They employed you, didn't they?"

"They did!" Cooper replied. "I did that, I mean I wanted precision, maybe that's why we won, who knows!"

Seeing Cooper and Clarkson make an unexpected return to screens isn't the only piece of good news Clarkson's Farm fans have been given of late.

Earlier this month, just days after his The Grand Tour departure, Clarkson took to the web to share an "important announcement" about his show's future.

He revealed Amazon had greenlit Clarkson's Farm for a fourth season which will soon enter production once the upcoming third season drops on the streaming service.

Cooper, Lisa Hogan and the rest of the Diddly Squat crew will undoubtedly be back to guide Clarkson through farming life once again.
