Emily Clarkson, the daughter of Clarkson's Farm star Jeremy Clarkson, has revealed she had to rush baby daughter Arlo to the hospital on Thursday evening.

The 29-year-old welcomed her baby girl back on February 1 with husband Alex Andrew.

On Friday morning, the podcaster and columnist took to Instagram to reveal she'd spent Thursday night in the hospital and as a result, she wouldn't be participating in her weekly Feel Good Friday social media segment.

In a statement to her Instagram Story, she penned: "Hey guys. I'm so sorry but there's no FGF today...

"She's absolutely FINE but we had to take Arlo to the hospital last night and we are all very tired today and I just need to spend the day hanging out with my little girl!

"Thanks for your understanding, very sorry and we'll be back with a feel good BONANZA next week! Xx." (sic)

The Grand Tour star's daughter didn't share any further details about why she was forced to head to the hospital with her child.

The 29-year-old is one of three children Clarkson shares with ex-wife Frances Cain.

She's the older sister to brother Finlo and Clarkson's other daughter, Katya.

Clarkson himself hasn't addressed his granddaughter's hospital visit publicly but has been using social media recently to update fans about the progress of the hit Amazon series, Clarkson's Farm.

Last month, the former Top Gear star confirmed the third season had officially wrapped filming at his Chipping Norton farm.

Kaleb Cooper - who has teased his "biggest ever" falling out with Clarkson occurs in the upcoming season - was joined by Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper in Clarkson's social media announcement.

There has been speculation that the third season would be the last following Amazon bosses' "disappointment" at Clarkson's Meghan Markle column, but it's been reported they've performed a U-turn.

In fact, the future of Clarkson's Farm looks rather bright, especially if cryptic social media clues left by Clarkson's partner Lisa Hogan are anything to go by.

However, Clarkson hasn't shied away from the hardships that running Diddly Squat has brought with it.

So much so, that he even admitted he'd contemplated the "heartbreaking" prospect of selling the farm for good after failing to make profits.

In his newly-released book, Diddly Squat: Pigs Might Fly, Clarkson even detailed the "last roll of the dice" he's undertaking to try and improve fortunes on the farm.
