Actor and musician Jared Leto is understood to be facing allegations of sexual misconduct from nine women, with claims spanning nearly two decades and involving women who say they were teenagers at the time of the alleged incidents.
The 53-year-old Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman has been accused of inappropriate behaviour in a lengthy exposé published by AirMail on Saturday, which detailed allegations dating from the mid-2000s.
Representatives for Leto have issued a statement denying all accusations, saying: "All of the allegations are expressly denied."
The allegations resurfaced this week when a woman reshared a 2012 Facebook post on her Instagram Story, claiming she "was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17."

The AirMail investigation revealed detailed accounts from women who alleged inappropriate sexual conduct when they were minors and young women.
"It's been an open secret for a long time," one anonymous woman told AirMail about the allegations against the Oscar-winning actor.
The exposé follows previous public accusations, including a 2015 social media post by director James Gunn accusing Leto of sleeping with underage girls.
He later deleted and blamed on an "Ambien-fueled Periscope session last night at 3am".

In 2018, actor Dylan Sprouse tweeted: "Yo @JaredLeto now that you've slid into the DMs of every female model aged 18-25, what would you say your success rate is?"
The reshared Facebook post read: "You're not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage... In a kilt.. And a snow hat."
She added that Leto "knew my age and didn't care. What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable."
Model Laura La Rue, 33, told AirMail she met Leto at a political rally in 2008 when she was 16, alleging that during visits to his Los Angeles music studio, "he walked out of a room completely naked" when she was 17.
"I remember him teasing me the whole time I was there," La Rue claimed. "He was flirting with me. He'd lean in close, then pull away, like it was a game."
Another anonymous woman told AirMail she met Leto at Urth Caffé in Los Angeles when she was 16, alleging he called her in the middle of the night with conversations that "turned sexual."
Leto's representatives responded that he "has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years."

Regarding La Rue's allegations, his representatives stated: "Their communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate and Ms. La Rue later applied to work as Mr. Leto's personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions."
La Rue denied ever applying to work as Leto's personal assistant.
His representatives also said: "Ms. Teilz's allegations are demonstrably false."
