Former Towie star Jordan Wright has been discovered dead in a drainage canal in Phuket, Thailand, at the age of 33.
The reality television personality from Basildon, Essex, was found lying face down in stagnant water near Bang Tao Beach on Saturday afternoon at approximately 12:30pm.
A Burmese worker who had been gathering vegetables in the area made the grim discovery and alerted officers from Choeng Thalay Police Station.
Mr Wright was dressed in a grey shirt and black trousers but had no shoes on when his body was recovered.
Authorities noted the body showed signs of having been in the water for some time and had started to bloat, though investigators observed no evidence of physical assault.

The 33-year-old was found dead near his hotel
|His iPhone 17 was located on a nearby bank, while a key card for Hotel COCO Phuket Bangtao was found in his pocket.
The hotel was situated roughly a 20-minute walk from where Wright's body was eventually recovered.
Security camera recordings captured the 33-year-old appearing agitated and pacing back and forth outside the accommodation before departing the premises.
Police chief Sutthirak Chuthong of Choeng Thale district station stated: "CCTV footage showed that he appeared restless and was moving back and forth in front of the hotel before leaving the area."

He added: "His movements eventually led to the location where his body was later discovered."
The senior officer confirmed that investigators believe Wright had been deceased for no longer than two days prior to being found.
He noted: "The case remains under investigation while we wait for the official autopsy results. CCTV footage related to the incident is part of the case file and cannot be released at this stage."
Mr Wright had checked into the hotel alone and was scheduled to depart on March 13, according to staff who spoke with investigators.

The star has not been on any other shows since leaving Towie
|However, hotel employees reported that he never completed his checkout.
Police chief Chuthong confirmed: "The guest was identified as Mr Jordan Wright, a British national, whom the hotel had been unable to contact. A search of the room revealed no signs of forced entry or other irregularities."
Detectives examining his accommodation found nothing suspicious during their inspection.
Mr Wright's remains have been transferred to Vachira Phuket Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be conducted.
