A source close to the production revealed that security personnel monitoring the jungle site maintain constant vigilance regarding developments in the surrounding region.

"The jungle security bosses keep their ears to the ground and are well-aware of what's going on in the local area," the source told The Sun.

"If something has happened nearby, they know about it and they act swiftly to ensure the safety of the entire team at all times."

The source confirmed that nobody associated with the programme's production was impacted by the violent events.

"Fortunately, no one connected with the show's production was in any way affected by this incident," they added.

The swift response from the show's security team ensured all cast and crew remained protected throughout the ordeal.

"NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the older man at the property for a gunshot wound; however, he died at the scene," police stated.

Detectives are seeking to interview both the surviving shooting victim and the man involved in the hit-and-run to determine the full circumstances surrounding their injuries.

Authorities have urged anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.

The investigation remains ongoing as police work to piece together the sequence of events.
