A major confrontation between two celebrities during the filming of I'm A Celebrity All Stars is understood to have cast doubt over the programme's planned London finale.

Actor Adam Thomas and former footballer Jimmy Bullard allegedly clashed during production in South Africa, with sources suggesting the dispute has created significant complications for the show's live final scheduled for next year.

The altercation is understood to have occurred during a challenging Bushtucker Trial, with witnesses including presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.

Production staff were reportedly forced to intervene following the incident, which has left both celebrities unwilling to share a stage.

The All Stars series brings together previous contestants competing for the ultimate jungle crown, with audiences set to vote for their winner during the London finale.

The 37-year-old Waterloo Road and Emmerdale actor reportedly became furious during the high-pressure challenge, which pushed one participant to shout the programme's famous catchphrase.

"Adam totally lost it," a source told The Sun. "He started screaming at Jimmy, calling him a c*** and every other name under the sun."

The insider described the outburst as "completely unexpected" and said it "deeply shocked the other campmates - including Jimmy, who didn't see it coming."

According to the source, Mr Thomas's competitive streak and serious approach to his jungle comeback contributed to the incident.

"Adam is intensely competitive and was taking his jungle return very seriously. He was frustrated by what happened in the Bushtucker Trial and lost his temper," they explained.

Mr Thomas previously finished third in the 2016 series behind Joel Dommett and winner Scarlett Moffatt.

The fallout from the South African incident has reportedly left the programme's future in jeopardy, with neither celebrity willing to reconcile.

"Adam and Jimmy weren't able to mend their friendship in South Africa after the massive row broke out. It's thrown doubt on whether both of them will be at the live final," the source revealed.

The insider added that the pair "can't stomach being together on stage in front of an audience after everything that happened."

Uncertainty remains over whether both celebrities will participate in the London finale, where viewers will crown the ultimate jungle champion.

"It's yet to be confirmed whether they will both be there," the source concluded.

ITV has been approached for comment regarding the situation, along with representatives for both Thomas and Bullard.

Following the reports of the confrontation, Mr Thomas has maintained an active social media presence without addressing the allegations directly.

The actor posted videos of himself recording his podcast with siblings Ryan and Scott, appearing relaxed whilst preparing dinner and decorating a miniature Christmas tree.

In footage shared online, he could be seen laughing as he switched on the tree lights, seemingly unbothered by the controversy.

The rumoured All Stars cast includes several notable returnees, with Scarlett Moffatt, Harry Redknapp, Gemma Collins, Sir Mo Farah, David Haye, Seann Walsh, Ashley Roberts, Craig Charles, Beverley Callard and Sinitta all reportedly signed up.

ITV has kept official details under wraps, only confirming that "memorable campmates from series gone by" will feature in the early 2026 broadcast.
