ITV Grace stars discussed what to expect from the sixth series
| ITVOne of the new series' most significant storylines tackles the issue of women's safety, a topic producer Mr Hunter described as "a very somber and important issue and something that is sadly, very relevant."
Unlike the other episodes, this particular instalment was not adapted from James's novels but was instead developed as an original story led by the writing and producing team, working alongside Caroline Carver.
Mr Hunter explained that extensive discussions took place to ensure the subject matter was handled appropriately within the context of a Sunday evening entertainment programme.
"It was to make sure that we were addressing that topic with kind of the right level of respect to it," he said, adding that the production team ensured the portrayal was "never gratuitous" and that victims' deaths were "given an agency and given a voice in the story."
