Coronation Street star Olivia Frances Brown is understood to have split from boyfriend James Nelson-Joyce, who is among those tipped to become the next 007.
The actress joined the ITV soap as Jodie Ramsay in January, making her debut in the history-making Coronation Street and Emmerdale crossover episode, Corriedale.
The 27-year-old became engaged to Mr Nelson-Joyce, 37, last August, but the pair seem to have recently removed all trace of each other from social media.
Ms Frances Brown's latest post shows her posing in a strapless polka dot dress, and in a cryptic move she captioned the post "après la pluie, le beau temps," which translates from French to "after the rain, the nice weather."
A source said of the couple: "It's finished. They were a rock-solid showbiz couple, and their fans will be absolutely shocked and devastated."
Speaking to The Sun, the source went on to claim the pair had cited busy schedules as the reason for their separation.
They claimed the couple had been "struggling to make time in their diaries for each other."
Last year, Mr Nelson-Joyce began appearing in lists of speculated James Bond contenders after the Liverpudlian starred as Michael Kavanagh in BBC's This City Is Ours.

Jodie remains a mysterious character on the cobbles, having been caught out lying about her background on multiple occasions.
She also attempted to seduce her sister Shona Platt's (Julia Goulding) husband, David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd).
She was also one of the five Corrie villains at the centre of a murder plot, which ultimately saw violent abuser Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) killed off.

James Bond fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on who next spy legend might be portrayed by.
The latest Bond, Daniel Craig, retired from the role following the latest film, No Time To Die, in 2021.
While there still hasn't been any talk of the new leading man, Amazon MGM Studios recently enlisted Nina Gold, the acclaimed casting director behind Game of Thrones, The Crown and Conclave to spearhead the search for Mr Craig's successor.
Amazon MGM broke the news earlier this month, saying in a statement: "The search for the next James Bond is underway.

Ms Gold has outlined two essential criteria for whoever lands the coveted role.
Speaking to Deadline, the casting director stated that the next 007 must "ooze sex appeal" - a quality that has defined every actor to portray the suave spy since Sean Connery first donned the tuxedo in 1962.
