ITV staff are understood to be furious about the glitzy 70th anniversary celebrations that took place on Monday night amid the 220 job losses within the company.
The broadcaster threw a party hosted by Joel Dommett to mark seven decades since their first broadcast at the same venue.
The Masked Singer presenter will be showing a special film celebrating ITV's programming history.
However, a source told The Mirror that workers have been vocal about how inappropriate it feels to splash out on anniversary festivities when half the daytime production team faces redundancy.

Earlier this year, ITV announced devastating cuts that will see 220 out of 440 daytime staff lose their positions.
The cuts are significant, with Lorraine Kelly's show set to be slashed from an hour to just 30 minutes and a schedule change meaning it will only be on air for 30 weeks a year.
Loose Women is also facing similar reductions. From next year, Good Morning Britain will be handled by a dedicated ITV News team, while the production teams for Loose Women, Lorraine and This Morning will all merge to save money.
The source explained that staff couldn't believe ITV went ahead with such a lavish party while so many people are facing the axe.

They find it particularly insulting that the broadcaster has invested in Gary Lineker's new entertainment show, The Box, while making these cuts.
"ITV did tell us they'd use the money saved from cuts to make shows in other areas, but daytime staff can't help feeling slighted," the source added.
They're especially bitter after seeing reports that ITV boss Kevin Lygo wants to throw huge amounts of cash at Michael McIntyre to lure him away from the BBC.
The Daily Mail reported last month that Lygo is "determined to nick Michael" and will pay whatever it takes to poach him from his current home.
However, ITV has not confirmed this. GB News has approached the broadcaster for a comment on the claims.
Former Loose Women panellist Sherrie Hewson has spoken out about the devastating impact these cuts will have on viewers.
She told The Sun recently that reducing the show's episodes feels "cruel and sad."
Ms Hewson stated that the programme is like therapy for women of all ages - from those up to 95 years old to younger mums at home with their children.

"Some people are lonely, and it is a lifeline for them, the only discussion they may actually be part of during the day," she said.
Earlier this year, presenter Coleen Nolan spoke out about the "devastating" impact of the daytime schedule changes.

The panellist, who recently celebrated 25 years on the show, expressed deep concern for the programme's behind-the-scenes staff who face an uncertain future.
"The crew have become family. I've watched them grow," she told Notebook magazine.
"Some of our runners from back in the day are producers, married with kids. I've shared my life with them. They're in limbo, not knowing what they're going to do."
