Leader of Reform UK Richard Tice has blasted broadcasters ITV for their attempt to "cancel" Nigel Farage, as allegations are reported to be made public during his stint on I’m a Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here!.
According to reports in the Express, ITV is set to reveal allegations about the GB News presenter, made during a video clip he made for personalised video messaging service, Cameo.
Farage’s team has since accused the broadcaster of a “stitch-up”, as he is unable to reply while filming the reality TV show in Australia.
A source close to Nigel has stated he has made "over 4,000" Cameo videos for customers, and when he first joined the platform, was subjected to a "hijack" by Remain supporters, who asked Nigel to "read out obscure rude words and in-jokes between friends".
Nigel's team said: "Had Nigel known that the message he was asked to read contained an obscure offensive word, he would not have made the video.
"For ITV News to ask Nigel to respond when they know he contractually can’t is a complete stitch-up. Is it a coincidence that this attack by ITV was to be revealed on the same day that voting lines open for supporters to decide who will remain in the jungle?"
Reacting to the allegations on GB News, Reform UK leader and GB News presenter Richard Tice slammed the "ITV wokerati" and claimed the I'm A Celeb series has "become rather dull".
Tice added: "The last thing they want is for Nigel to win it. And so the production staff, they're cutting him out."
Tice fumed: "The last two nights I've only watched about 10 to 15 minutes, because he's not on it.
"How can he make a statement when he's in the jungle and he's got no communication? He doesn't even know about what's gone on in politics in the last two weeks.
"This is a deliberate attempt in order to try and make Nigel look bad. This cameo stuff from a couple of years ago. I mean, the whole thing is a complete nonsense. It's about a word that's got multiple meanings."
"I tell you what if ITN News run this, they will have an absolute pile on. I think it will be just extraordinary."

In agreement with Tice, host Bev Turner said: "It will just galvanise people to vote to keep him in.
"I said when Nigel went in, the channel are not going to want to present him in a positive light, they cannot have him win."
Tice replied: "Actually more and more people should say we're not going to have that, vote Nigel, and make him a winner. He's a winner anyway."
An ITV spokesperson previously told GB News: "We are a 60-75 minute entertainment show, and the content featured is a fair and accurate representation of life in camp."
GB News has contacted ITV for comment regarding the claims.
