Harry Potter star Stanislav Yanevski has been rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery after suffering severe breathing difficulties.
The 39-year-old Bulgarian actor, who played Quidditch star Viktor Krum in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, shared an update from his hospital bed on Instagram today.
The actor posted a selfie showing his bandaged nose as he recovers from the procedure that was performed after he was hospitalised due to an "inability to breathe".
In his heartfelt message, Yanevski explained: "Soon after my birthday I was hospitalised due to inability to breathe. I was taken into surgery and the photo was taken right after I had come out of the surgical room."

Yanevski shared positive news about his recovery, stating: "I am still recovering and things are looking great. I will be able to breathe freely, experience all scents of life, which was something I had lost over the past months."
The actor explained he currently has "a few pieces planted" in his nose, making it difficult for him to speak properly. As a result, he has temporarily paused his Cameo bookings.
"I will be able to sleep without struggles, recover properly with peaceful sleep and be at my full powers very soon," he added.
A recent check-up with his doctor brought encouraging news for the Harry Potter actor. "I had a checkup with my doctor today and he said that I'm recovering really well and was actually quite surprised with my progress," Yanevski shared.
He attributed his positive recovery to his lifestyle choices, adding: "I guess all the healthy diets, training and self control and belief help in such cases."
The actor concluded his post by thanking fans: "Thank you all for all the love and support as always!"
Fans quickly rallied around the actor, flooding his post with messages of support, with one concerned follower writing: "Damn man! Take care of you, get well soon. You're a warrior man."
