The Clarkson's Farm star became an instant fan-favourite when she arrived in season four

Clarkson's Farm star Harriet Cowan has sparked fresh speculation about a potential return to the Amazon Prime series after teasing fans during an Instagram Q&A session.

The 24-year-old farmhand, who became a fan-favourite during season four, responded coyly when asked about her television future by inquisitive fans.

The young farmer and nurse faced calls for her to remain a part of the Clarkson's Farm cast as soon as she arrived at Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat in the show's fourth season to fill in for farm manager Kaleb Cooper.

Those calls intensified in recent weeks when she shared a cryptic Lamborghini tractor post on TikTok, and after Cooper suffered an injury. But now, she's addressed her on-screen future outright.

"When do we get to see you back on the TV? Love the fact that you're representing Derbyshire", one Instagram follower asked after Cowan asked her followers to send in their questions.

Refusing to rule out a return to the spotlight, the 24-year-old simply replied: "Hmm we will have to see." (sic)

Her Instagram response has reignited hopes among viewers who have been calling for her to become a permanent fixture on the show.

Cowan joined the cast midway through season four when Cooper embarked on a nationwide stage tour, quickly proving herself as a valuable asset to the 65-year-old presenter.

Despite her popularity with viewers, her services were no longer required when Cooper returned to the farm, leading to her departure from the show.

Clarkson himself praised the young farmer's contribution, telling The Sun: "I loved Harriet to bits and I wish her all the very best. She was fantastic to have around."

He added: "But the truth is, we've got Kaleb, and he might go off and do Celebrity Love Island or something, and if I can't manage, I'll call Harriet in a heartbeat."

Speculation about Cowan's return intensified recently when she posted a TikTok video showing herself operating a Lamborghini tractor. The post, captioned "Abit of old skool wrapping tonight in the lambo!!", prompted immediate questions from followers about whether the vehicle belonged to Clarkson, who famously purchased a £40,000 Lamborghini tractor from Germany in the show's first series.

"That clarkson lambo?" one user asked, whilst another queried: "You drive a Lambo? Or is it Jeremy's?"

Fans expressed their hopes for her return, with one commenting: "Was great on Clarksons farm. Hope she appears more in next series." (sic)

However, one follower suggested the tractor actually belonged to Cowan's boyfriend, appearing to dismiss speculation about a connection to Diddly Squat Farm.

Despite the speculation, Cowan has previously confirmed there are currently no plans for her to appear in the fifth season of Clarkson's Farm, which is presently filming.

Speaking to BBC Derby, she stated: "We've always left it very open. I'm here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute."

She added: "He's just another farmer for me. A flat peak cap and checked shirt, and all that."

The young farmer has also revealed plans to launch a YouTube channel soon, suggesting she intends to maintain her public profile despite her absence from the Amazon series.

Additionally, Cowan recently announced the launch of a new family business venture, Cowan Contracting, which promotes women in farming.
