Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb has taken to social media to share a touching tribute to his mum Pat Webb after she died at the age of 75.

Webb died following a battle with a long illness, according to a statement from the Channel 4 show.

She had joined her son on the TV show back in 2018 following the exit of Lustig-Webb's pal Chris Ashby-Steed and went on to appear in series 10-12.

Breaking the news to his and his mother's fans, Lustig-Webb took to Instagram with a statement.

He penned: "Mummy Pat, you were one in a million, took everyone at face value, would share your last fiver with a stranger, the salt of the earth and the absolute centre of our world!

"Rest in peace mum," Lustig-Webb signed off followed by a love heart emoji.

Loose Women star Ruth Langsford was one famous face who showed her support as she penned in response to the news: "I’m so, so sorry to hear about Mummy Pat Stephen.

"May she rest in peace. My condolences to you and your family….hold your memories close. Sending you love and a bloody big hug," Langsford added with a love heart emoji.

Another Gogglebox star, Izzi Warner, weighed in: "Sending you lots of love, she was one of a kind," followed by a series of love heart emojis.

And another of Lustig-Webb's former Dancing on Ice co-stars Ricky Norwood added: "Sending you and the family big [love]." (sic)

The Channel 4 show shared a statement of its own following Webb's death in which it stated everyone at the program was "deeply saddened" by the loss.

Webb was described as a "much-loved cast member" before the show said the family was requesting privacy at this sad time.
