Channel 4's Gogglebox has been accused of promoting a "one-sided" and "inflammatory" picture when it comes to the USA's ongoing operation in Iran.
During Friday's instalment on the long-running show, the cast shared their opinions on the conflict after watching a news report from ITV News anchor Romilly Weeks.
Ms Weeks provided the details on the ongoing war, including President Donald Trump's first speech after the joint operation with Israel that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini, and news of retaliatory strikes by Iran on its Gulf neighbours and allied military bases.
"Good afternoon. Iran has retaliated today with multiple missile strikes across the Middle East," Ms Weeks began in the report watched by the Gogglebox cast.

Donald Trump has expressed his disappointment in Keir Starmer for his lack of action over Iran
| GETTY"This is scary, isn't it?" Ellie and Izzi Warner said to one another as they watched from home before Giles Wood and Mary Killen weighed in.
"They're lashing out at American bases in the Middle East, as they said they would," Giles said, prompting Mary to ask: "I thought Iran had been neutralised by Trump a few months ago."
"So Trump would hope you'd think that, Mary," Giles replied before the cameras returned to Ms Weeks' report.
"The Pentagon named it Operation Epic Fury," Ms Weeks informed viewers, which led to Lee Riley and Jenny Newby mocking the president for supposedly naming the operation similar to that of "a boxer".

Meanwhile, Michael, Sally, Jake, and Harry from Kent sarcastically chipped in: "Well, that's gotta calm things down nicely, isn't it?"
Teresa and Anita in Solihull were similarly sceptical. "Old Donald opened up a can of worms here," one said, before the other chimed in: "I don't think he always thinks through things properly, does he?"
After learning of the strikes that hit Dubai, Jenny turned to Lee to ask: "You're not safe anywhere, Lee, are you? Have you checked on Steve? You need to check on him."
"I know, but he's in Cyprus. They'll be a bit safe there, won't they?" he replied in a rather ironic response.

Later, Giles weighed in: "The sense of deja vu when I hear that word regime change. It reminds me of WMD, David Kelly, the dodgy dossiers."
As the segment rolled on, the ITV news report played parts of President Trump's speech addressing the initial strikes, as well as Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer's message from Number 10 outlining Britain's decision not to join in with the initial operation.
"Why would he do it now?" Mary asked her other half, to which Giles replied: "Well, (Trump) needs to do it now, Nutty, because of his poll ratings going very badly."
One of the sons from the Kent family had a different suggestion: "I partly feel like listening because Trump wants to get people off the Epstein files, 'Look at this! War!'"

Sisters Ellie and Izzi remained unconvinced by the USA and Israel's motivations. "What is the imminent threat from the Iranian regime? This is the first time hearing about it," one of the sisters said.
Meanwhile, Blackpool-based Pete was also oblivious: "They must know something that we don't."
Julie Malone then defended the Iranians: " Yeah, but you can't tar them all with the same brush. I'm sure there are some very nice people as well."
Tom Malone Senior quickly jumped in: "I think he's on about the leadership regime, not people that are just, like, in a shop."

Anita and Teresa continued their opposition to Trump's message: "Well, there's a reason why past presidents haven't done this before."
And Michael, Sally, Jake, and Harry also appeared displeased at the president's stance. "So the unarmed civilian population of armed, please rise up against the really well-armed, bloodthirsty leaders of the regime," Michael sarcastically chimed in.
Sophie from Blackpool then weighed in to describe Trump as a "dog that's still on the lead but foaming at the mouth."
The discussion drew rather irate responses from Channel 4 viewers watching at home, with several accusing the cast of being uninformed on the Iranian regime and displaying a clear "left-wing" bias against the US leadership.

"Channel 4 scripting their tv viewers to portray its leftist ideologies again… #Gogglebox," a second alleged, before a third weighed in: "#Gogglebox projecting Left Wing vibes again tonight. Tedious."
Another concurred: "#Gogglebox these idiots on gogglebox haven’t got a clue on Iran. Don’t they realise just what these leaders are capable of if they got their hands on nuclear weapons, then they would be saying why didn’t somebody do something?"
Elsewhere, a fifth asked: "Are all these people on gogglebox idiots ... it seems they have no f***ing idea what goes on in the world #IranWar #gogglebox."
Keir Starmer was made aware of Israeli plans on Iran 'weeks' in advance | GETTY"Stop with the BS about far-right political propaganda. You’ve ruined Gogglebox," a sixth commented, before another probed: "Gogglebox gone all left wing again?"
And an eighth hit out in no uncertain terms: "@Gogglebox PLEASE just try a bit harder to show you're not a biased, woke left liberal, one-sided, inflammatory, we employ racist-to-white-people, DIPS**TS." (sic)
