GB News Breakfast has scooped up the Best News Show gong for a third year running at the 56th Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards.
The viewer-voted award saw the People’s Channel show beat BBC Breakfast and ITV’s Good Morning Britain once more.
Breakfast also saw off competition from BBC News at Six and ITV Evening News in another win against mainstream media.
The regular presenting team of Eamonn Holmes, Ellie Costello, Anne Diamond and Stephen Dixon were all praised for their warmth, insight and connection with viewers.

Speaking after the win, host Stephen Dixon said: "You never expect it, you can’t do that. But this is all down to two things. One, our incredible viewers and listeners and their votes, because this is all voted for by them.
"But also, we have to thank the whole team. We may be the face of it, if you like, but there’s a whole team behind it, and they all work very, very hard. So this is a team prize."
Co-host Ellie Costello added: "Absolutely the hardest working people in the business. And I also think it’s such a privilege for all of us that GB News viewers have us in their living rooms, or on their smart speakers in the kitchen, or on their car radios on the way to work.
"We are with them throughout the day, and they choose to stay with us throughout the day and that means so much to us. So thank you so much for voting for us.
Commenting on the People's Channel’s double victory, GB News Head of Programming Ben Briscoe, also said: “GB News Breakfast is the fastest growing breakfast show in the UK. Now it’s defined itself as Britain’s favourite morning news programme.
“It’s fiery, fearless and always entertaining. Eamonn, Ellie, Anne and Stephen provide a disruptive and entertaining alternative in the morning. I am so proud of the team that works tirelessly everyday.

“Charlie’s award is a powerful tribute to his relentless reporting on issues others have too often ignored. His journalism has brought truth, accountability, and above all, hope.
“Huge credit must go to the entire GB News team, both on and off screen, for their commitment to fearless journalism that’s now reshaping British broadcasting. People said we wouldn’t last. Four years on from launching we’re winning the biggest Awards.”
The Tric Awards honour excellence across the broadcasting industry, with winners chosen by public vote.
The ceremony, hosted by Dan Walker, welcomed nearly 1,000 guests and featured a live performance from British soul star Lemar.
