Emily Atack has shared a deeply moving tribute to her former boyfriend Charlie Edwards following his death, describing the 27-year-old as a "beautiful boy, beautiful soul" in an emotional Instagram post on Thursday evening.
The 36-year-old actress revealed her devastation at losing someone who had remained a constant presence in her life despite their romantic relationship ending years ago.
"Charlie you were my friend. You were ALWAYS there for me. You dropped everything so many times to come and be with me," she wrote.
The Inbetweeners star added: "I can only hope and pray that you have found some peace."

The pair had been introduced through mutual friends, with Charlie initially wooing the actress via Instagram before they began dating.
