Actor David Killick has died aged 87 after a short illness, passing away peacefully on Friday, July 4 at St John's Hospice, North London.
His agent confirmed the news in a statement: "It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our much-loved friend and client David Killick, who died peacefully on Friday 4th July at St John's Hospice, North London after a short illness."
The statement continued: "David was an actor for over 60 years, loved the business and his fellow actors, and was loved and respected in his turn by all who were lucky enough to work with him.
"He will be sorely missed," the tribute poignantly signed off.

A Touch of Frost was a British television detective mystery drama that aired on ITV from December 1992 until April 2010, starring David Jason as Detective Inspector William Edward "Jack" Frost.
The series, produced by Yorkshire Television and later ITV Studios, was initially based on novels by RD Wingfield and featured Jason as an experienced detective who frequently clashed with his superiors whilst solving cases in the fictional southern England town of Denton.
The show ran for 42 episodes across 15 series, with Jason's portrayal of the cynical yet talented detective marking a significant shift in public perception of him from comic to dramatic actor.
Meanwhile, The Crown is a historical drama television series about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, created by Peter Morgan and produced by Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television for Netflix.
The series spans six decades, beginning shortly before Princess Elizabeth's wedding to Philip Mountbatten in 1947 and ending with Prince Charles's 2005 wedding to Camilla Parker Bowles.
