David Beckham seems less "at ease" during family gatherings amid the rumoured rift with his son, Brooklyn, 26, according to body language experts.
Over the last few months, the Beckhams are believed to be feuding with oldest child Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz.
Speculation has intensified following the family's social media activity over the past few weeks, with Brooklyn seeming to ignore and dismiss family milestones but publicly acknowledging all of the Peltz's celebrations.
The aspiring chef has also missed several of the Beckham gatherings and parties, including David's 50th birthday parties in Miami and London, with no social media messages offered.
It's understood that the family, including brothers Romeo and Cruz, are currently not in touch with Brooklyn, with some speculating Peltz is at the centre of the feud.
The two brothers have also both shared apparent digs at Brooklyn through their online activity, while the oldest Beckham child seemed to address the feud in a post in which he stated he would "always choose" his wife.
Despite seemingly pointed social media posts, nothing has been officially confirmed by either party, but one body language expert has told GB News exclusively what she thinks is going on behind the scenes.
Speaking to this publication, Angela Kyte, an MSc-qualified psychotherapist and psychologist, shared her analyses, noting that the former football legend doesn't seem as content and relaxed these days.
The Beckham 'rift' became more public when Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend David’s star-studded 50th birthday celebrations
GETTYObserving older posts that featured Brooklyn and Nicola alongside the Beckhams before the apparent rift, the expert pointed out: "In earlier photos [of David and Victoria] there’s clear proximity, open body posture, and genuine smiles, all strong indicators of rapport and mutual acceptance.
"The lack of physical barriers, like crossed arms or physical distance, and natural touch, such as hands on shoulders, shared laughter, suggests the families once felt at ease with each other.
"Over time, roles and expectations may have shifted, which is common after marriage, especially in families that are closely-knit and high-profile."
Peltz has often been described by those speculating as "controlling," with critics in the comments of the couple's photos assuming she contributed to the Beckham rift.
Sharing her verdict on Peltz, Kyte commented: "From a body language perspective, Nicola often presents as confident and self-contained, with strong posture, direct eye contact, and expressive facial control.
"Brooklyn, in contrast, can appear more relaxed and emotionally open.
"While some might interpret her composure as 'controlling,' it’s more accurate to say she exhibits leadership in public settings.
"Psychological dynamics in relationships are rarely one-sided; often, one partner takes on more of the 'external-facing' role, particularly when navigating fame. This doesn’t imply manipulation, just different communication styles."

Sharing her thoughts on how happy Nicola and Brooklyn appear together, Kyte added: "Looking at their body language, the couple often appear physically close, with mirroring posture, eye contact, and touch, which typically signal emotional connection and synchrony.
"However, in some photos, subtle cues like tightened jaws, tension in the shoulders, or a lack of shared gaze can sometimes indicate stress or internal preoccupation.
