Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, has publicly praised Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham after the former England captain received his knighthood at Windsor Castle this week.

Sir David, 50, was honoured by King Charles on Tuesday for his contribution to football and charity, with the moment becoming the most-liked Royal Family post on their official social media account.

Acknowledging the honour, the global football icon posted online: "I'll be forever grateful for this moment with His Majesty The King at Windsor Castle receiving my Knighthood... To all the people who make this day so special and so traditional at the castle thank you, there is no country like ours when it comes to tradition; it makes me even more prouder to be British.

"To my wife, my children & my parents this was a day we will never forget thank you for making a special day even more special if that's at all possible... I Love You all." (sic)

Sharing her own lengthy tribute online, Ms Apostel said watching “GOOD people” achieve their dreams was “beautiful”, adding that the Beckhams’ success and work ethic was “an inspiration to everyone".

She wrote: "There’s nothing quite as beautiful as seeing deserving and truly GOOD people achieve their dreams.

"What an inspiration to everyone to always keep going and never lose your character, drive, but also kindness, no matter how crazy a dream is or how long it could take.

"I am repeating myself but to me, the most inspiring thing to see is how you both support each other's ambitions.

"You’re dedicated not only to yourselves reaching your maximum potential but also, each other, and you celebrate each win as if it were your own.

"You master the balance between that and just plain love and family time every day, and there’s nothing more aspirational than that."

Lady Victoria responded directly, penning: “Your beautiful words mean so much x we love u xx”. (sic)

Ms Apostel's post was also liked by Holly Ramsay, daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay, who is a close friend of the Beckham family and held an intimate party at one of his restaurants shortly after the investiture this week.

Over the years, the Ramsays and Beckhams have holidayed together and marked birthdays and Christmases in each other's homes.

On viewing the tribute, fans flooded Ms Apostel’s comment section, thanking her for being "exactly who the family needed”, with others acknowledging the "kindness shining through each and every word".

One fan of the model made a point to call her “the kindest future daughter-in-law”.

This gushing reaction stands in sharp contrast to the scrutiny aimed at Nicola Peltz-Beckham, wife of the Beckhams' eldest son, Brooklyn, with fresh headlines about alleged tension between Nicola and the wider Beckham clan continuing to circulate this year.

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, both failed to acknowledge Sir Beckham's incredible milestone on social media, which led to fans of the Beckhams flooding Brooklyn and Nicola's Instagram pages with criticism.

"Keeping your hubby away (from) his family is vile. It shows in your eyes. Not being there for David's knighthood shows that you (not only Brooklyn) have hatred in your hearts," one critic of the pair commented under Nicola's latest Instagram post.

Another shared their disapproval of Nicola's actions, commenting: "So that's who Brooklyn dumped his family for..."

However, a number of the husband and wife's fans have also rushed to defend them in light of Sir David's knighthood snub, with many pointing out that the public "don't know what's happened" behind closed doors.

The rift in the family was made even more evident as all of Beckham's clan turned out to support David's big day, except for the reportedly jaded duo.

The former footballer, 50, was celebrated by Lady Victoria, his parents, Ted and Sandra, and the rest of his children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Seven, who all joined their parents at Windsor Castle for the ceremony.
