Channel 5 viewers tuned into Thursday's edition of Jeremy Vine have been left up in arms following one guest's verbal attack on US President Donald Trump.
A debate about whether or not the US President deserved the Nobel Peace Prize for the part he played in Thursday's ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel erupted following the diplomatic milestone.
The Gaza peace plan signifies the first time in over two years that the war in Gaza may come to an end.
Host Jeremy Vine welcomed broadcaster Jemma Forte and commentator Samuel Kasumu onto his talk show to discuss what the agreement could mean for the Middle East, as well as the role President Trump played in getting to this point.

The remark Ms Forte made that caused uproar came after one caller rang the show to suggest President Trump should receive "some sort of honorary part as a Nobel Peace Prize" for his part in the peace plan
"You either get it or you don’t, Craig," Mr Vine hit back, prompting Ms Forte to quip: "You can't give him the 'Nob' Prize."
Getting the conversation back on track, Mr Vine said: "No, come on, we’re in serious territory here. That’s not how it works."
The caller then put to the panel: "Right, so they don’t give it to him, and then do you think he’ll still be all for peace in the Middle East?

"That’s not why you should give it to him," Ms Forte weighed in, prompting a rare moment of agreement with Mr Kasumu.
"That’s not why you should give it to him," Mr Kasumu added before he asked: "But who has done more than him? That’s the question.
"In the last nine or 10 months, to try and secure peace across the world, who has done more than Donald Trump?"
Ms Forte bluntly replied to her fellow Vine panellist: "Greta Thunberg."
"Oh, my life," Mr Kasumu said in disbelief at the suggestion, before Mr Vine weighed in: "Hmm, not sure.
"But, of course, Trump has spent time - his time is precious - and he came in as America first.
"He wasn’t going to take any interest whatsoever in the rest of the world. And the world has simply captured him."
Mr Kasumu argued: "Yeah, but his argument is war, in other parts of the world, has a direct impact on America, and that’s why he’s interested."

However, Channel 5 host Mr Vine hit back: "But he was told that again and again during the election campaign. He ignored it. He said we can keep out of everything."
At that point, Ms Forte felt the need to weigh in with her thoughts on President Trump's actions in office. "He’s undermined Nato. He’s destabilised quite a few alliances," she claimed.
"Yeah, he flirted with Putin, basically," she added when Mr Kasumu tried to interject to ask her for evidence.
The entire debate sparked a clear divide between the Vine panellists, as well as Channel 5 viewers at home.

And it's safe to say one particular sticking point in the argument was Ms Forte's suggestion that Ms Thunberg had done more for world peace than the US President.
Taking aim at Ms Forte's seeming endorsement of Ms Thunberg over President Trump, one X user hit out: "GT [laughing emojis], please Jemma, you talk bulls***," followed by more laughing emojis.
"Greta!!! Hahahahahahaha," a second X user echoed before a third said: "You have to applaud her for at least TRYING to come up with an alternative, even if it is hilarious. The eco, sorry that was last week, Free Palestine 'warrior'."
The derision for Ms Forte's suggestion continued on Facebook. "Who is that woman panelist who said Greta Thunberg? Was she for real or being sarcastic?" a fourth baffled critic asked. (sic)

Another social media user fumed: "This woman does not have a f***ing clue what she is on about! Obviously doesn't like Trump and has tinted glasses on! F***ing Greta! Really!"
And a sixth Facebook user asked: "Why is she even talking? She said Greta Thunberg has done more for world peace, and that Trump flirted with Putin. She's absolutely clueless. It's an embarrassment having her on."
However, Ms Forte's opposition to President Trump was supported by a handful of Channel 5 viewers who also weighed in on the online debate.
"Anyone who believes they deserve the Nobel Peace Prize should immediately be disqualified from being nominated," one X user argued. (sic)
A Facebook user also concurred with Ms Forte: "Greta has done more."
And a third President Trump critic added: "But he's caused so much unrest in his own country." (sic)
