Celebrity Big Brother star Fern Britton has admitted that she will cut her time short and leave the Big Brother house if Phillip Schofield makes a surprise appearance.
Britton worked alongside Schofield from 2002 until she left in 2009 and were the faces of the ITV daytime programme, This Morning.
After she left, Holly Willoughby stepped in and soon, the pair became daytime TV sweethearts and dominated the TV scene.
Schofield left his role on the show back in March 2023 after admitting to having a relationship with one of the younger male workers on the show.
After the scandal broke, Britton didn’t hold back when asked about her former colleague, sharing they "no longer speak", a comment that came after years of the pair making clear they’d had a falling out.
During the episode of Big Brother tonight, she discussed the future of This Morning and admitted she would leave the house if Schofield entered.

Speaking to Gary Goldsmith who asked for her opinion on everything that has happened with the show since May last year, she explained: “I got off the train 15 years ago.
“I’m over the horizon now. So I honestly don’t know, I can’t say anything. Anything I say would be supposition and blah, blah, blah. It was tricky at times.”
“It’s an institution,” Goldsmith interjected, leaving Britton to agree: “And it’s another institution, weirdly, a programme like that, like the monarchy, it rocks.
“Then it gets back together again. And I think Ben and Cat are going to do a really good job. I think it’s a new era.”

Goldsmith added: “I think it’s lost its personality, having this whole range of different hosts. There was a rumour that Phillip was going to come in here.”
Laughing at the comment, Britton admitted: “Oh well, that didn’t happen yet. Maybe he’s coming in as a surprise. Well yes. I might have to leave at that point.”
It didn’t take long for viewers to pick up on the comments made by Britton, as one X user quipped: “Fern's reaction to Phil if he ever came into the Big Brother House was Gold! She is giving us what we want.”
“I’m loving Fern Britain politely throwing shade at The Schofe! #cbbuk #cbb,” another added before a third penned: “Not them going from talking about Phillip Schofield & Kate Middleton, to then running round the house dressed up as horses.”
