Britney Spears has voluntarily admitted herself to a treatment facility, her representative confirmed on Sunday.
The 44-year-old Grammy-winning singer made the decision approximately five weeks after being taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence in Ventura County, California.
The arrest occurred on March 4, with Ms Spears booked at around 3am before being released within three hours.
According to emergency services audio, her vehicle had been observed moving erratically between lanes, braking unpredictably and travelling without a functioning tail light.
