The 20-year-old is one of three finalists gearing up for Saturday evening's spectacular

Bobby Brazier has been dealt a rather discouraging blow just hours before taking to the Strictly dance floor for the final time, GB News has learned.

On Saturday evening, the EastEnders star will take on Ellie Leach and Layton Williams as all three celebrities prepare to pull off a trio of dances.

Brazier - who's already sparked fury with the routine he's chosen to perform again - is taking on a Couple's Choice, a Showdance and a Samba.

The young actor has come on leaps and bounds so far in this series despite landing in the dance-off twice.

And while Leach is the one whom bookmakers have tipped to be the odds-on favourite to lift the Glitterball, Brazier would've undoubtedly been hoping his chance may have improved in the days before the finale.

Sadly for Brazier, that hasn't been the case and in a blow to the actor GB News has heard that it would take a "monumental upset" to see him lift the sought-after trophy.

Lee Astley, Head of News for BettingSites.co.uk, told GB News before the finale: "Ellie has been the story of the show in this year's edition.

"Consistently brilliant performances, likeable persona and a steamy connection with dance partner Vito Coppola. It would take a monumental upset to see her not crowned the winner.

"Layton Williams has danced consistently brilliantly throughout the competition and is second favourite, but because of his professional dance training it was always a tall order to overcome the feeling that he has an unfair advantage on the field."

As a result, the bookmakers have priced Leach as a 1/14 odds-on favourite, followed by Williams at 12/1 and Brazier at 18/1.

While his chance of winning may be slim, Brazier has already made Strictly history by bagging a spot in the finale.

Brazier is officially the youngest-ever male celebrity to earn a spot in the final in 21 series.

He'd make history again if he managed to lift the Glitterball alongside Dianne Buswell as gymnast Louis Smith is the youngest ever winner of the show as he was 23 years of age when he won.

Brazier secured his spot in the finale after seeing off Annabel Croft in the semi-final dance-off.

Craig Revel Horwood was the only judge who opted to save Croft but head judge Shirley Ballas had the deciding vote and opted to see Brazier in the final.

The result left to some Strictly viewers claiming Croft was "robbed" as she and Radebe both emotionally bid their farewells to the competition.
