Former BBC presenter Danny Kelly has hit out at the broadcaster for airing Bob Vylan's "idiotic" performance at Glastonbury.
The rap duo sparked widespread outrage after chanting "death to the IDF" during their festival set on Saturday.
Speaking to GB News, former BBC employee Danny Kelly hit out at the broadcaster for not taking swifter action to pull the broadcast, suggesting they will now "implement a delay system" to their live television.
Kelly stated: "I think what will happen now is there will be an inquiry, because the BBC love inquiries. Whenever something goes wrong, there'll be an inquiry into that.

"What they'll do now, they will probably have to have a 60-second delay. They will have to do what commercial talk show radio stations have, and that's something called a dump button."
Kelly explained: "In commercial radio you only have seven seconds, so if someone comes on the air and swears, then the producer's got seven seconds to kill it. I think the BBC will have to implement something like that."
Criticising the lack of urgency by the BBC to pull the broadcast, Kelly told GB News: "I don't know whether they do the due diligence on the artist, I don't know much about this lad, but I'm sure that there's some political activism along the line somewhere.
"Maybe they should have thought, okay, well, this lad's a bit edgy, as soon as the clown started singing 'free, free Palestine', if I was a producer at the BBC, I'd think 'where's this going?'. I would have laser-focused attention on potentially what he's going to say."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Asked by host Nana Akua what happens to Bob Vylan now, Kelly argued that he "has the infamy he has always craved", suggesting the stunt was "pre-planned".
Kelly said: "He's got the notoriety and the infamy that he always craved, this lad. It was obviously so pre-planned what he was going to say.
"Don't forget it was on the Palestine ticket as well, so he was bound to say something like this."
He added: "It's inciting violence, it's racist, and what this idiot doesn't even consider is that in the IDF there are Muslims serving as well. Israel is a very vibrant and mixed society. He's got a very common opinion about Palestine and he's entitled to it, but you can't start saying kill people."

In response to the broadcast, a BBC spokesman said: "Some of the comments made during Bob Vylan’s set were deeply offensive.
"During this live stream on iPlayer, which reflected what was happening on stage, a warning was issued on screen about the very strong and discriminatory language. We have no plans to make the performance available on demand."
Glastonbury Festival has said it is "appalled" by the actions.
In a statement, as spokesman said: "Their chants very much crossed a line and we are urgently reminding everyone involved in the production of the festival that there is no place at Glastonbury for antisemitism, hate speech or incitement to violence."
