The soap star has found herself in the dance-off three times

Strictly Come Dancing couples are just hours away from taking to the floor once again, and with the competition heating up, the dance-off could throw up some huge surprises.

Unfortunately for one celebrity, the odds seem to be against them and they’ve been named as most likely to make an exit on Sunday.

EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal has been through a turbulent journey on the show, having faced the dance-off three times.

However, she and partner Julian Caillon moved the judges and fans last week with their unique couple’s choice.

The routine earned them high praise from the panel and they swam through to this week’s show.

The 46-year-old actress dedicated the Bollywood-inspired number to her mother, who passed away last year, transforming it into a tribute celebrating her cultural heritage.

The routine marked a significant moment as the programme's first authentic Punjabi Bhangra performance, combining traditional dance elements with contemporary music.

Despite the high scores of last week though, the latest odds have revealed Ms Sopal is tipped to be the next celebrity to leave Strictly.

Speaking via Mecca Bingo, former Strictly professional Ola Jordan shared her prediction.

It’s hard to predict this week. La Voix ended up in the dance-off last week, but she’s doing Couple’s Choice this week, which will likely give her a boost and keep her out of the bottom two," she reflected.

"George and Alexis are doing the Rumba, which could be challenging for him, so he might be at risk of slipping into the bottom two.

"Balvinder is performing the American Smooth. She may or may not be safe, but I'd put my money on Balvinder being the most likely to go.

"With La Voix bouncing back with a Couple’s Choice, the odds are stacked against Balvinder."

Ms Jordan continued: "Vicky has the Jive, which she will probably find quite hard, but from what we’ve seen in the training room, it looked alright.

"It’ll really come down to how she delivers it on the night.”

It’s a tough week because everyone wants to make it to Blackpool, but someone has to leave.

"I still think Balvinder is the most vulnerable – if the votes aren’t coming in, she’ll end up in the bottom two, and if she’s up against someone stronger, that could be the end of the road for her.”

Online bookmaker Grosvenor Sport seems to be back up the pro's theory, with Ms Sopal placed at odds of 3/5 to be eliminated this week.

La Voix isn't far behind with odds of 2.1 and Amber Davies with 8/1.

Simon Kew, spokesperson for Grosvenor Sport, explained: "Balvinder Sopal continues to struggle to gain momentum from the public and remains the favourite to leave next, with her odds shortening further from 1/1 to 3/5.

"Despite a strong week last week, there’s still increasing confidence from the public that she could be the next celebrity to depart.

"She has been the bookies’ pick to be eliminated for several weeks now, could this be the week we say goodbye to her?”
