Adam Peaty family feud hits new heights as aunt blasts swimmer in scathing rant after calling Gordon Ramsay 'dad'

Her fury was sparked by Gordon's recent revelation about the new term of endearment.

Speaking to The Sun, the Hell's Kitchen star said: "He calls me dad. He messaged me and said, 'Hey, Dad. What have you got? Hey, Dad. Are you around later?' And it's just like, 'Oh my God.' Incredible."

Louise quickly hit back, saying she had “tears in my eyes” as she wrote her condemnation of the 31-year-old athlete.

Her emotional response focussed on the physical toll endured by Adam's father, Mark, a bricklayer who she claims worked himself to the bone to fund his son’s early swimming ambitions.

"Your dad worked his hands raw and bleeding to pay your swimming expenses before you got sponsorship," Louise wrote in her lengthy social media post.

She emphasised the gruelling nature of Mark's profession, describing it as "a hard, laborious, back-breaking job" that he undertook "without moan or complaint" to support his son's athletic dreams.

"That man literally worked his hands bloody so that you could pursue your dream," she added.

Louise also aimed at Adam for publicly praising others while seemingly overlooking his parents' role in his success.

The swimmer recently credited his coach, Melanie Marshall, for "shaping him into the man he is today."

"You credit Mr Ramsay as your dad. You credit Mel for shaping you into the man you are today. What about your mum and dad?" Louise demanded in her Threads tirade.

She also highlighted how Caroline organised community teas to raise funds for swimming costs, while Adam's siblings "missed out on having their mum on the weekend."

Louise concluded her attack by branding her nephew "a complete and utter tool."

The bitter dispute between Adam and his family supposedly began around the time of Adam and Holly Ramsay's engagement, with sources saying many of Adam's relatives were left off the guest list for the engagement party.

In November 2025, Adam's brother, James, was arrested following a police incident that occurred during Adam’s stag do in Budapest.

The Olympian allegedly received "increasingly abusive" and "threatening" text messages, claiming that he would be "met off the plane" upon his return to the UK.

The feud then escalated in November, when it emerged the swimmer had barred his parents from his December wedding at Bath Abbey.

Sources say Mark was invited but chose to stay away after being told to sit at the back of the venue, while Caroline initially planned to watch proceedings from the street before her husband persuaded her against it.

Louise has positioned herself firmly as her sister's defender throughout the ordeal, with Caroline previously sharing a tribute describing her sibling as her "protector."

The row intensified further after Gordon dismissed the family's grievances as "self-inflicted," prompting a Peaty family source to brand him "nothing but a big bully."

Gordon has since described the accusations as "absolute nonsense."
