Rain soon clearing the south but persisting across parts of Scotland and northern England where it will feel much cooler in strong winds. Brighter elsewhere but some heavy showers developing.

Rather cloudy with areas of rain and showers sinking south. These could be heavy, especially in the south. Drier, settled weather gradually moving in from the north. Temperatures around average.
