UK Weather: Sunny spells today and dry for many.

Today:

Sunny spells today, best of the sunshine across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Dry for many but some early showery rain in the far south and a little rain at times for northern England this morning and central UK this afternoon.

Tonight:

Most areas dry with long clear periods and fog patches. Cloudier and windier in the far north with some rain at times. Colder than last night with widespread frost.

Monday:

A chilly start then most areas fine, dry and bright with plenty of sunshine once early fog patches clear. Cloudier in the very far north with rain at times.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

A cold and foggy start for some on Tuesday, with sunny spells developing. Rain arrives into the northwest later, sinking south but weakening through Wednesday. Thursday, dry with sunny spells.
