UK Weather: Dry for many but chilly with some frost

Today:

Showers in the far north and running down the coastal west and east tending to ease from the north. Some heavy showers still likely through the afternoon in the far southwest and parts of East Anglia, windy around these. Chilly.

Tonight:

Rain in far north, heavy at times. Cloud and light rain spreading into parts of north England. Chilly evening for Scotland but becoming milder overnight. Cold with frost further south.

Friday:

Some rain in far north, locally heavy, and over upslopes in northwest England and perhaps north Wales. Bright with some sunshine in eastern and southern parts. Less cold than Thursday.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Windy in the north over the weekend with a spell of rain on Saturday, heaviest and most prolonged in the northwest. Drier and brighter for most on Sunday and Monday.
