Heavy rain and thunderstorms spreading north across southwest England into south Wales and the Midlands by morning. Mainly dry elsewhere, but rather cloudy in northeast.
Saturday:
Dry, sunny and very warm in the north, but cooler near North Sea coasts. Heavy showers and thunderstorms in the south.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Heavy showers in the south Sunday, mainly dry elsewhere. Further heavy showers Monday, mainly in the east, and in the south Tuesday. Rain at times in the far north.
