Cool and cloudy across central England and Wales with some light rain and drizzle, especially this morning. Turning brighter and warmer across southern England but some sharp showers breaking out. Brighter for Scotland and Northern Ireland but some showers likely.

Tonight:

Showery rain moving southwards across Scotland and Northern Ireland, turning clearer and chilly in the far northwest. Rain developing across southern England later. Dry elsewhere.

Monday:

Cool and cloudy across southern England with rain at times. Patchy rain moving southwards from Scotland into northern England. Brighter elsewhere.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Rain, heavy at times, will affect the south on Tuesday morning. Otherwise dry with some sunshine. Turning cloudier with patchy rain in the north from Wednesday. Cooler than of late.
