Expat Tom explained he had lived in countries across the world, but most recently moved from London in the UK to work in Spain.

He said there "aren't many" cons to life in the country but some processes are more difficult compared to the UK.

He explained: "Things sometimes take longer than in the UK.

"I'm used to Government processes and immigration process - things like that - moving pretty efficiently."

While the process of moving may be "slower" than in the UK, the expat said it is still a simple one.

"I'd say things like that may take a little bit longer to navigate but it's not complex at all," he told Expats Everywhere.

This comes as a city in Spain was voted as the easiest place to settle in if moving abroad.

Malaga was found to be the most welcoming for expats in a recent study.
