British Airways adds flights giving holidaymakers access to Asia's most 'sought-after' destinations

UK holidaymakers will be one step closer to the jewels of Asia as more flights link the UK to Cambodia and Thailand.
British Airways is adding new flights to its route map allowing seamless travel to destinations across southeast Asia.
The additional routes will give holidaymakers a wider choice of beach destinations as of October.
More flights will connect London and Bangkok following an expanded partnership with Bangkok Airways.

The British carrier's codeshare partnership with Bangkok Airways will open up five additional destinations across Thailand and Cambodia.
This will give holidaymakers access to the following destinations:
- Phuket (HKT), Thailand
- Koh Samui (USM), Thailand
- Chaing Mai (CNX), Thailand
- Phnom Penh (PNH), Cambodia
- Siem Reap (SAI), Cambodia
Travellers will also be given more choice and flexibility when travelling to any of the holiday hotspots listed above.
The agreement means British Airways customers travelling from or transiting through London can connect to their final destination in Thailand or Cambodia on a single ticket.
Neil Chernoff, British Airways' Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, said: “In October, we will be operating our first direct flight to Thailand in more than four years, so it's a highly anticipated return to our global network.
“Knowing that this route will be particularly popular with our leisure customers, we're pleased to be working with Bangkok Airways to offer more choice and make these sought-after holiday destinations more accessible.

What's more, customers can expect more choice and flexibility when travelling to any of the holiday destinations.
Holidaymakers will also be given the option to incorporate a stopover in Bangkok into their journey before continuing to their final destination, all on the same ticket.
Members of British Airways' loyal programme, the Executive Club, will collect Avios and earn Tier Points when flying on Bangkok Airways on a British Airways codeshare journey.
Avios is the programme's currency, which can be used as part-payment towards Reward Flights or upgrades, as well as hotels, car hire and more.
