Spotify is down for thousands of users.

If you rely on Spotify to stream music, podcasts, or audiobooks, you're probably unable to listen to anything on the Android or iPhone app right now. It's not you, but rather an ongoing issue with the Sweden-based service.

Down Detector, a real-time service that tracks outages and issues via mentions on social media, shows over 30,000 reports from disgruntled users in the United States and over 10,000 in the UK every minute.

Spotify has confirmed the issue via X and says it's actively working to resolve the ongoing issue. The streaming service has also acknowledged that users are having login and playback issues on its community page.

Several users have taken to X to express their frustrations.

There have been a few other Spotify outages this year, with the most recent occurring in November. Additionally, there was a mass hours-long outage affecting thousands of users earlier this past Spring.
