Jack Draper has had a brilliant tournament so far at the US Open

Jack Draper is making a name for himself at the US Open and giving Britain high hopes of another star in the making.

It has been quite the journey already for the rising tennis star, who spent his childhood in Ashtead, Surrey and attended Parkside School in Stoke d'Abernon, Cobham before moving on to Reed's School.

And the 22-year-old has already amassed quite the fortune for himself midway through his breakout 2024 season.

The youngster has reached the quarter-final of the US Open, the furthest he has reached a Grand Slam tournament in his career.

He will face Alex de Minaur on Wednesday having not dropped a set throughout the whole competition.

Having started six years ago, Draper has made a pretty penny, accumulating $2,914,754 (£2,221,086) prior to his run at the US Open, according to Salary Sport.

Earlier this year, his prize winnings took a boost when he won his first ATP title at the 2024 BOSS Open in Stuttgart, beating Matteo Berrettini in the final.

Taking home that trophy, along with five other ATP Challenger Tour victories, has significantly pushed his net worth to £2.5m.

Draper could more than double his net worth if he goes on to win the US Open this month.

Having reached the quarter-final, the British No. 1 has already bagged himself $530,000 (£403,054).

But by winning the whole tournament, Draper could win a total of $3.6m (£2,737,725) and his eyes are firmly on the prize having beaten his old rival Tomas Machac, who he had lost to the previous four outings.
