The 21-year-old will be hoping to win a second Grand Slam of her career this summer

Emma Raducanu has posted some snaps from a recent trip to Oxford, with the 21-year-old set to play at Wimbledon this summer after being given a wildcard to the tournament.

The Briton's involvement in this summer's showpiece tournament has been uncertain amid her poor injury record in recent years.

But it has now been confirmed that Raducanu has been given a wildcard entry to the tournament as she looks to win a second Grand Slam title of her career.

Raducanu looked to be enjoying herself in Oxford, with snaps from her Instagram showing the youngster looking happy.

She had a big smile on her face and one image showed hundreds of bottles of wine.

Raducanu, it seems, made a trip to the Oxford Wine Company - with the business even commenting on her post.

"Hope you enjoy the wine," they said, while accompanying their post with a wine emoji.

Raducanu soaked up the Oxford sunshine as she posed for snaps.

And she also enjoyed a car ride listening to 'Fun' by We Are Young, with Janelle Monae also featuring on the track.

Raducanu has started to regain her mojo after appearing at the Nottingham Open last week.

The 2021 US Open champion beat Ena Shibahara and Daria Snigur as she stepped up her return to action.

However, while Raducanu performed impressively during her semi-final clash with Katie Boulter, she was unable to make the final.

Though Raducanu is set to play at Wimbledon, she won't be taking to the court at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.

The Briton has opted to turn down a wildcard for the tournament, with the 21-year-old cautious as she looks to stay fit.

And Raducanu, speaking recently, said she was feeling better and better with each passing match.

"I feel a little tired but I'm in the last stages of a tournament," she said.

"There's no point in being super fresh if you go out in the first round every week.

"I've come a long way. I feel really good physically. That lockdown just allowed me to do more work, more fitness.

"I'm starting to trust my body a lot more, I wouldn't say I'm the finished product, but I'm feeling really good that I could play tomorrow.

"I'm just shaking off a bit of a cold but physically I'm just feeling good, I'm feeling strong.

"Even at the start of this. year, getting back into match fitness and being able to continue day after day, it's a good position to be in."

And Raducanu insists 'great things are coming' despite her struggles in recent years.

"If I'm fit, if I'm giving 100 per cent, I know great things are coming, but I don't think there's any need to stress my body any more or take any risks, especially with my history," she added.

"For me that's been pretty clear since from the beginning.

"I do things in my own way and in my own time, when I want, not in a diva way, but by prioritising my body and my health."

Raducanu last played at Wimbledon back in 2022, crashing out to Caroline Garcia in the second round of the tournament.
